As parts of its agenda to always set the pace, Christ Apostolic Church Oke Igbala Aremo Ibadan, Oyo state on Sunday September 1, 2019 achieved another milestone with the release of a new album titled “Emi Yoo Dade Wura”.
The album, full of hymns has fourteen different hymns from CAC hymnal and it is the first of its kinds in the history of Christ Apostolic Church world wide.
The hymns sang in classical form was performed by the Choristers of CAC Aremo.
Launching of the album also coincided with the 56th Anniversary of the church Choir.
Dignitaries at the anniversary included the Chief Executive Officer of Crime Alert Security Network, Ambassador Amos Olaniyan, Radio Presenters, Pastors in the Church and choristers from other CAC Assemblies.
Speaking on the album CAC Aremo Choir Secretary , Engineer Bimbo Fakeye, appreciated the support of the Church Council toward the success of the album
According to him “every other CAC assembly might have produced album, but none of them has ever produced hymns as we produced in this album, this is the first of its kind”
“Many thanks to the Church Council and the sponsor of this project, Ambassador Amos Olaniyan.
In a remark, the special Guest of honour, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Crime Alert Security Network, Ambassador Amos Olaniyan, whose wife was once a member of the choir encouraged people to be positive in their thought.
He explained that his love for hymns formed his motives to sponsor the project.
He said “ there was a time I came here, the choir sang a song, that “ I will make it”, I love the song and sang it, I must tell you, that song worked for me, that is why we must develop a positive thought to make it in life”.
Patron Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Igbala Aremo, Elder Dosu Ajuwon commended the choir for making the Church proud and urged them not to relent.
The new album which is the third of album produced by CAC Aremo Choir is available at the Church and its assemblies at Olodo, Afofura and Ebenezeri.
